2014 Photos of the year
Hi friends and colleagues, As I reflect back on my first full year as a freelance photographer once again, I am glad to show off the wide range of work I have captured and created for a variety of clients. I have enjoyed photographing professional sports as well as developing some repeat corporate clients. From the runways at O'Hare to a wedding in Thailand, 2014 was a great year of personal and professional growth. I look forward to another year of creating exceptional photographs.
As a tradition I start out my year with a day long paddle no matter what the weather offers up I am out enjoying it. |
Off to Thailand for a wedding
I had a few days of leisure time and enjoyed some markets and some great food.
Then it was back to Chicago to generate some work. One of the things I enjoy the most is working in adverse lighting situations like taverns for party's like these at the Four Moon in Roscoe Village…..
As the winter was finally ending, in June, (ha ha) I was lucky to land at O'Hare for a few days and managed to avoid the hazards of that kind of work.
Into the Corporate realm
I had a call one day to see if I could go into a financial office and take a few photos for their website. I agreed and with the subjects help we came up with a few compelling images.
The wide world of sports brought me back to my favorite, the NFL, as well as a first, into a locker room for a post season celebration with the Kansas City Royals. I also witnessed the retirement of a great White Sox player, Paul Konerko.
Friends and family. The most precious commodity we have is time. I have enjoyed the extra free time I have being with my family and with other family friends.
Thanks for looking at my photographs. I hope our paths cross and I hope I can help capture some photos for you, your company, and your family. Have a great 2015.
